  Weekly Service Times:  


Sunday 8 a.m. Spanish/ Misa en Español
Sunday 10 a.m. English/Misa en Ingles
Wednesday 10 a.m. English- Contemplative Service followed
by Bible Study - bring a snack or lunch, if you would like.
Miercoles 10 a.m. Misa en Inglés y el estudio bíblico.

 

Annual Meeting January 19th, after the 10 a.m. service. Details will follow next month. This is the time we will elect new Vestry officers, and Delegates and Alternates to represent the parish at Diocesan Convention. We will vote on the 2025 Budget and receive a report on the state of the parish. If you are the head, nominal or elected of a group or committee, please start to consider what you will write in your brief report to be included in the Annual Meeting packet. If you are considering joining the Vestry please speak to Rev. Courtney.


Bishop’s Visitation: Sunday, January 26th, 2025. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to be baptized, received, or confirmed on that date, please contact Rev. Courtney 408-431-6810 admin@stpeterssm.org.


Parish Office Hours: nominally Mon. to Fri. 10-1. Please phone before arrival, to be certain someone is available to assist you. If you are available to volunteer to staff the office, please speak to Rev. Courtney. Thank you to those who volunteered this week.


Volunteers Needed: We are looking for two or three flexible people to learn how to livestream our Sunday services as some of our dedicated volunteers are unable to continue with this ministry. If this might interest you, please speak to Joe Ardizzone or contact the Parish Office.


Men’s Breakfast Group: meets monthly in the Parish Hall from 9:00 a.m. to noon. New members welcome, feel free to drop by and learn more or speak to Joe Ardizzone. Next meeting date: Saturday,  January 18th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon in the Parish Hall. 


Vestry Meetings: 2025 Schedule to be decided. Parishioners and visitors are welcome to attend meetings. The date for the 2025 Vestry Retreat is tentatively set for February 1st from 9-4 p.m.


Candlemass Sunday February 2nd: This service begins with a procession and includes the blessing of candles for use throughout the year. You are welcome to bring your candles from home to be blessed.


Daughters of the King: Meetings are held monthly on the third Sunday of the month in the Guild room. No Januray meeting due to the Annual Parish Meeting. The next meeting date is February 16th. Please help yourself to coffe and join us after the 10 a.m. service. 


Martha’s Market Resurrection Collection: The Red Wagon is in the baptistry. Every item helps.

Suggested items:

  • cereal, crackers, pop-top canned fruits, pop-top or key opening meats and fish like corned beef, spam, mackerel, sardines, tuna.
  • Toiletries: toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and soap.
  • Fresh fruits and vegetables are also welcome if you have too many or are leaving on holiday!
